1. The quality is not up to standard

 

In the production process of slewing bearings, in order to obtain greater profits, some manufacturers use impure materials to make them, which cannot meet the needs of the use of slewing bearings, so that the quality of the bearings is not up to standard, and the slewing bearings are accelerated to rust. The use of the slewing bearing itself is in a bad environment, which can easily lead to danger.

 

2. Use but not maintain

 

Slewing bearings are often used on large rotating machines. Due to the harsh environment of use, the slewing bearings cannot be cleaned in time during use and cannot be properly maintained, resulting in corrosion.

 

The slewing bearing is made of carbon structural steel, which will rust over time, which will affect the normal operation of the equipment and even cause some damage to the equipment. It is very important to prevent the slewing bearing from rusting

 

 Preventive measures for rusting of slewing bearing

 

1. Immersion method

 

For some small bearings, it can be soaked in anti-rust grease, which can make the surface adhere to the upper layer of anti-rust grease, thereby reducing the chance of rusting.

 

2, brushing method

 

For some larger slewing bearings, the immersion method cannot be used, and it can be brushed. When brushing, pay attention to evenly smear on the surface of the slewing bearing, so as not to accumulate, and of course, be careful not to miss the coating, so as to prevent rust evenly.

 

3. Spray method

 

When the slewing bearing is used in some large rust-proof objects, it is not suitable to use the immersion method for oiling, but only spraying. The spray method is suitable for solvent-diluted anti-rust oil or thin-layer anti-rust oil. Generally, spraying is carried out in a clean air place with filtered compressed air with a pressure of about 0.7Mpa.

 

Maintenance method of rust of slewing bearing

 

1. When the product is activated, it should be filled with new grease according to different working conditions.

 

2. The slewing bearing should be filled with grease regularly. According to different types of slewing bearings, the specific filling time of grease is as follows:

 

a: Ball type: add grease every 100 hours of operation;

 

b: Roller type: add grease every 50 hours of operation;

 

If it is in a special working environment, such as: tropical, high temperature, dusty, high temperature, and continuous work, the grease filling cycle should be shortened, and it should be ensured that it should be filled every 50 hours; Apply detergent once every 150 hours. When working vigorously, apply detergent every 75 hours. Note that the teeth must be wiped clean before applying detergent. The machine must be filled with new grease before and after the machine has been stagnant for a long time. Each time the grease is added, the raceway must be filled until it overflows from the sealing device. When adding grease, the slewing bearing should be slowly transferred. Fill the raceway with grease evenly.

 

3. During use, the sundries on the surface of the slewing bearing should be removed frequently, and the sealing strip of the slewing bearing should be checked for aging, cracking, damage or separation. If the grease is lost, the corresponding grease should be smeared after replacement to avoid the rolling elements and raceways from being caught or corroded.

 

 

 

4. Because there are many comprehensive factors in the use process, the user can choose a more suitable grease according to the specific situation.

 

Since the installation of the slewing bearing, after the first 100 hours of operation, the pre-tightening force of the bolts should be checked, and after every 500 hours of operation, the check must be maintained with sufficient force and effort.

 

5. After the equipment has been working for 2000 hours, if a bolt is found to be loose to less than 80% of the specified torque, the bolt and the two adjacent bolts should be replaced with new ones; if 20% of the bolts are found to be loose to 80% of the specified torque Below, replace all bolts with new ones. After the cumulative operation of the equipment reaches 14,000 hours, all bolts should be replaced with new ones (recommendation: after the first two to four months of use, re-firm each firm, and then transition to an annual systematic inspection).

 

6. Pay close attention to the operation of the slewing bearing during use. If noise, shock, or sudden increase in power is found, it should be stopped immediately for inspection until all faults are eliminated, and it needs to be disassembled and inspected if necessary.

 

7. When the slewing bearing is in use, it is forbidden to directly wash the slewing bearing with water to avoid water entering the raceway and cause rust; strictly prevent hard foreign objects from approaching or entering the meshing area, so as to avoid injury to the teeth or unnecessary trouble.
